In some places, security agencies do not bother about the security of homes in the area, and some homes are being burgled and vandalized repeatedly, even if the house does not have anything of value in it.
Either out of hatred or other reasons,the burglars are damaging the doors,plumbing, removing the taps.
So if the home owner plans to live in the house, there is a possibility that the burglars may attack again, especially if the home owner is not well connected. If the house is left empty, the renovated house may again be vandalized.
